Trenton,
NJ – Christopher

two counts of bank robbery with more possible Special Agent In
Charge Weysan Dun announced. The first robbery occurred on June
7, 2008 at approximately 12:55 p.m. at the Bank of America, 1322
Sea Girt Avenue, in Wall, New Jersey. Chidichimo, wearing a baseball
cap and a long sleeve blue shirt, handed the tellers a demand note,
received a sum of money, and fled the scene in a four-door red
car. Surveillance video of the parking lot captured the vehicle
entering and leaving the lot just before and just after the robbery.
A second similar robbery occurred on June 18, 2008 at approximately
11:10 a.m. at the Investors Bank branch at 425 Route 70, Lakewood,
New Jersey. Once again, Chidichimo used a note and once again, witnesses
described the robber as a white man wearing a baseball hat and wearing
a long sleeve dark shirt. Surveillance video captured the robbery
and the red, four-door vehicle in the parking lot of the bank at
the time of the robbery.
A relative of Chidichimo recognized and positively identified the
bank surveillance images of the robber and also advised law enforcement
that Chidichimo owns a red Mercury Mystique, similar to the vehicle
in the surveillance videos.
Chidichimo appeared before Honorable Tonianne Bongiovanni, United
States Magistrate Judge today in Trenton.

every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty
beyond a reasonable doubt.
