TOP NEW JERSEY “G-MAN” IS PROUD PRESIDENTIAL AWARD RECIPIENT

Newark, NJ – Weysan Dun, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Newark Field Office, was recognized by Director Robert S. Mueller, III and Assistant Director John Raucci in a ceremony at FBI Headquarters this past Friday. Dun is a recipient of the 2008 Presidential Meritorious Executive Rank Award, which is conferred by the President of the United States and bestowed only upon a very select group of career civil service employees each year for sustained accomplishment.

Prior to his arrival in the Newark division in 2007, Weysan Dun served as the Special Agent in Charge of the Springfield Field Office as well as an inspector at FBI Headquarters. Dun was selected for the Presidential Meritorious Executive Rank Award for his sustained exemplary performance of three years or more and significant contributions to the mission of the FBI. For more than 30 years, Weysan Dun has dedicated himself to the highest principals of public service.

Dun is among eleven recipients recognized this year in the FBI. “The integrity, strength, leadership, and sustained performance of these eleven employees have earned them one of the most prestigious honors in government,” said Director Mueller. “Receiving the Presidential Rank Award is an honor not only for these individuals, but for the FBI as a whole, and we are deeply proud of each of them.”
